Review
The newest in the line of Pokémon Role
Playing Games, Pokémon Gold/Silver take place approximately three years after the
previous versions. In them, new Pokémon, new items, new attacks, new Trainers, new
towns, new Gyms, and new Badges appear, as well as all of your old favorites.
Pokémon Gold/Silver and Crysal keep track
of time like a watch, so that during your day, the screen is light, and day-time Pokémon
are out, but when night falls around you, so does night in the game, and everything
becomes darker, and night time Pokémon waken to battle .
Also new is the PokéGear, which holds a watch, a map, and a
radio, which allows you to listen to music. Some
music can even increase or decrease Pokémon encounters. Also heard over the radio
are special reports to help you on your quest. |
